LAUGHTER TAP
Laughter Tap is an exciting new modality which unites two therapeutic intentions that have proved to be effective of each other but, in my experience, when combined their potency is increased. As an ex-teacher I wish I had known about it when I was working in schools as it helps teachers, pupils, parents and carers.
Laughter Tap can be done anywhere, anytime, anyplace and requires no specialised equipment.
Laughter Tap combines gentle tapping on specific body points near the ends of certain energy meridians, with laughter therapy exercises. The tapping releases trapped energy allowing it to flow freely through the body providing many benefits.
It lowers stress levels, boosts energy, manages mood behaviours, improves sleep quality and helps with fears, phobias, pain and panic. It helps focus concentration and coordination, boosts immunity and confidence.
It can be adapted for adults and children of all ages and abilities, is easily learnt and can be done by carers for those who are unable to do it for themselves. As surrogates they can tap on their own body, that of the person in their care or on a toy. There is even a simplified version that involves just lightly tapping the edge of each finger nail.
In addition the contagious nature of the smiling and laughter exercises that accompany the tapping have many benefits, encouraging deep breathing, supplying the body with extra oxygen, and an aerobic workout for internal organs. These are especially important for those with limited mobility.
Laughter Tap is a versatile methodology and can be used simply to enhance the quality of life and also to address specific problems.
Learning Laughter Tap is quick, easy and fun. A comprehensive manual is provided with instructions, pictures, sample scripts and ideas for adapting to situations and abilities.
I am happy give a more detailed explanation or demonstration in person. Karen Roberts 07707272075
